“Spectre” Out Today On iTunes & 7″ Vinyl…

09, Aug 2012

Our ghost is out…and ready to wander up and down your ear canals making weird noises.¬†The digerati among you can download “Spectre” through the fruit-based platform iTunes. Alternatively, if your turntable is looking lonely, you can pick up the 7″ here (backed by an excellent [STRANGERS] remix) or instore at our favourite new record shop, Pie & Vinyl. We recommend the ‘Wild Shroom’ or the ‘Pietanic’. One turntable that definitely isn’t lonely though is the one belonging to Matt Barnes on his Roundhouse Radio show, where he gave “Spectre” a spin cycle – as have The Lost Parade by the looks of it. Thankers to those nice fellows.

Continuing a pie and vinyl theme however, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be joining the likes of Man Made, F.U.R.S., Eagulls, Bo Ningen and many more tooty beauties at this year’s Southsea Fest on the Pie & Vinyl x Can’t Hear My Eyes stage! Expect a pie full of sweat and growling. Mmm. Plenty more of that to come on the ‘Tour’ section too…

For now though, we’ll leave you with the [STRANGERS] interpretation of “Spectre”…

The demolition, the curse,

A Free Spirit…

…and no risk of headache. Hopefully.

Whilst we await the main ghost, here’s a little remix from Soil In The Synth (Yazoo, Everything Everything) to tide you over.

Big “oohs”, “ahhs” and thanks to the wordy wonder of Just Music That I Like, Breaking More Waves, The Von Pip Express, Invisible Guy, Faded Glamour, The Blue Walrus, ACID TED, The Culture Of Me, Strangeways Radio, Sounds Good To Me Too, The Electricity Club, Slow Show, Tom Robinson and Brighton Source too (see left). Spectretacular.
